The Curious Flurry of Snow

Amanda Snow, whose father is a retired policeman, is well-schooled in the dangers of picking up hitchhikers. It is something she would never do. But when she is driving through a fierce blizzard and almost runs a man down, it seems the least she can do is give him a lift. The storm worsens and they pull off the road into the parking lot of a seemingly deserted restaurant. She is slowly drawn into a world she has known nothing about. Increasingly flustered, she questions her own perceptions. He lies, but he is charming. He makes a fool of her, but he is entertaining. Everyone seems to adore him, and she is afraid she is falling under his spell. Is he a murderer or was he an intended victim? The small town sheriff thinks he is guilty of murder and that Amanda is his accomplice. To save themselves, they will have to discover why people are being brutally murdered and by whom. They will have to uncover family secrets to unearth the motive, unmask the perpetrators and save themselves. They are not totally on their own.
