As a parent, all I've ever wanted is for my children to do the best they can, and no more.
I've always wanted to know, how do you change the attitude they have, or put in that spark that drives them.
You see it there everynow and then, in them, and sometimes on the wrong thing, or it gets put out with self disbelief, and doubt.

So I wrote this, it's not really a read, but a do. You decide too, and you do it.

Mine was set on a beach at a family reunion with 20 teens and some kids, no wind and light waves. I'm not a strong public speaker so it got better towards the end. I also roped in some willing adults to be in the circle working the group with me.

I speeded up or slowed down to give people more time when needed.

The result was great, we were all euphoric after. The little kids all thought it was so much fun, but all the teens understood the meaning and felt empowered. The adults watching on receive nice hugs from the returning teens and also felt like it was a leaving home ceremony, or a coming of age.
