Claire Martin dreams of having a normal life, yet it is her dreams that prevent her from having one. When she sleeps, she finds herself within the dreams of the people around her. That can sometimes lead to disappointment in the real world.

Max Duncan has picked up the shattered pieces of his life, and done his best to put his past behind him. Surprised at the strong connection with quiet new neighbor Claire, he doesn’t run when their casual friendship leads to an impetuous affair.
