The story shapes up as a variation on the old 'opposites attract' scenario.
Both individuals are in a new environment away from their support groups and in a situation where they interact in ways they would not ordinarily do on their own.
The guy, who thinks of himself as a Hotshot Jock, has always acted like God's gift to women and women generally threw themselves at him. He thinks Goths are losers and only losers do Art.
The young artist, Horla, has contented herself with her art pursuits and never seriously had a boyfriend or a sex life. She truly despises the football jock and jock culture in general and everything it stands for but she is not against the idea of using his buff body for sex if the occasion arises, however unlikely it seems.
When the jock sees that Horla is making a big difference in the lives of the young kids through using her art to effect a positive change he finds himself rethinking the idea of art being stupid and of Horla being a loser.
He decides to hook up with her at work during break time. In his mind he is generously doing Horla a favor and rewarding her for her work running the program. He expects her to be thrilled to perform oral sex on him.
The twist is that Horla stills detests the jock and finds even his first feeble attempts at friendship revolting. But when she senses she has a chance at having access to that hot buff hardbody for sex, while only using the jock, she keeps her options open.
The Dumb Jock has never experienced anything like this girl and it's blowing his mind..
