Three women. One enemy. Millions at risk.

It’s December 1972, and the last Christmas of the Vietnam War is here. When Lieutenant Minerva Zettler, a nurse at Queens Naval Hospital in Long Island, begins to suspect that two recent deaths in the hospital were actually murders, she becomes a target of dangerous Hanoi-sponsored activists.

Newswoman Thule Thornbush assigned to Queens Naval on Christmas Day sees signs of danger as well. Angling for a staff position at The New York Times, Thornbush is obsessed with spinning anti-war stories and investigating Vietnam activist war sentiment.

Across the ocean, movie star Iona Dell spends Christmas in Hanoi, as her fans call for the end of the Vietnam War and Ho Chi Minh calls for attacks on the US Military Hospitals. She, too, has a sense of impending doom.

But none of these women fully understands the terror to come as North Vietnam prepares for anti-war citizens to assault its already wounded soldiers on Christmas Day.
