The goddess Airmid bestowed a gift on an ancient witch, in return for a favor. This gift is passed down through rare and gifted witches, who’ve kept relatively to themselves working on their craft. What wasn’t told to them was the side effect of the “gift” they had received.
Modern technology has made it ever more difficult in keeping their secret from the public, and now it has been discovered that their blood can create a special type of vampire, who's motives are unclear at best.
Enter Gordon Hopewell, who can't believe his luck, which had been phenomenally bad for most of his life, when he's hired as the head of security for a trio of upper class ladies at their DC mansion. It doesn't take long to realize things aren't as they seem: picture perfect women that don't age, security for women that rarely leave the house. Maybe the man claiming to be a vampire, that keeps breaking into his apartment isn't as crazy as he seems. Could his employers really be a witches coven?
Their secret motive for hiring Gordon isn't out of the bag for 24 hours before he finds himself attacked by the local coven and accidentally in forced into another world, facing new, and dangerous enemies. Meanwhile, a special task force back home, with their own hybrid were-agents, start the hunt for supernaturals, and it’s becoming clear that the only thing that can help them is the prophecy.
If the prophecy doesn't kill Gordon, it will lead the witches to the help they were promised by Airmid's prophecy. However, being exposed to the world seems inevitable, and they fear it's already too late.
