Milwaukee Phil Alderisio was a Mafia crime boss in Chicago in the 1960s. My e-book looks at a bank fraud conspiracy involving him and three co-conspirators. During 1965 the criminal group stole approximately $89,000 from a bank in suburban Chicago. One of the ring leaders of the theft was a former loan officer of the financial institution. The FBI initiated a four-year investigation that eventually brought about Milwaukee Phil's arrest. He was taken into custody at his home on a Sunday when various syndicate minions were arriving for a meeting at his residence.
