This story is about a young woman named Danielle whose world has not only just been turned upside down with the death of her grandfather, who was all she had left in the world since her parents died when she was seven, but now it's been turned inside out! Danielle is thrust into a land too fantastical to believe and she's told she is the Princess of Elodacia! Only her new found friends; Brandir, Kristof, Aislyn, Kiera, and Asher, plus the grandmother she never knew existed can help her adjust and survive in a place that technically should not exist. Danielle must deal with insurmountable changes, learn how to use her 'powers', and rule an entire race of people completely foreign to her. Being told that she is half Faery, half Elven is the least of her worries. Danielle must unite not only Faeries but Elves, Dwarves and the mysterious and shunned Rai' tok monks if she is to return Elodacia to it's former glory and beauty. To do this she must stop Mordreth, the son of Xelda, another half Faery, half Elf with horrific 'powers' of her own that she passed on to her son. Her 'powers' plus his, has made him a monster to be reckoned with. Now to add insult to injury, Mordreth has a Hydra from the North under his control. Danielle can only hope that their Griffon is strong enough to destroy this Hydra before all of Elodacia is lost!
