The Godsend

It's not even a decade since the end of World War Two. The nation has almost returned to normal, but Davey Christopher, who is "seven-going-on-eight" wonders if life will ever be normal again. At Davey's house in an upper Mid-West farming community, it's Christmas. The "Santa Clause problem" is only one of the distressing mysteries that this young, aspiring detective must unravel. His world has been toppled because of secrets discovered, lies uncovered, and truths withheld. Davey's belief in Santa, and even his belief in God come into question, but worst of all, an ill-timed identity crisis shakes him to his core.
