The Gravity of the Situation

Prologue to The Corsican, The Gravity of the Situation follows Syrah Ceballos' adventures, and how she became a slave rescuing rabble rouser. This story introduces us to a distant world, where slavery is commonplace and not illegal. Humans have sprawled out to many planets, and each has their own system of governance. The law between the stars is much more vague, and harder to enforce. Syrah has come under the scrutiny of a rich, powerful noble, who knows that she holds the key to abilities no tech has been able to replicate. Now she must survive his plans for her.
