The Guide to Huangshan or Yellow Mountain, China (the Ups, the Downs, the Hotel, the Food, the Reflexology, the Flight and the Much Needed Rest) from Pearl Escapes 2010
Nonfiction, Travel
Hi there, I'm Pearl Howie (aka Pearl Escapes) and this is my guide to Huangshan or Yellow Mountain, one of the most incredible sights in China. The cloud seas that drift in across the peaks of the mountain have inspired and been featured in many films, but there is nothing like seeing these in real life, and they've even installed handy cable cars for those who can't or don't want to walk all the way up. I used to get extremely burned out in my old job and couldn't even handle finding and booking a hotel and flight or finding what to do when I did take time off. So, I thought "wouldn't it be awesome if someone would write a guide that just gave you one perfect escape; the perfect hotel, spa, flight and restaurant." So that's what I did.
