Washington DC is home to some of the most powerful and influential people in the world. But even they are sometimes subject to that which they seek to control. The Halls of Power tells the stories of two of them.

In “Balance of Power,” Senator Marcus Whelan has little time for a social life. But he can’t attend a state dinner solo, so his secretary sets him up with security expert Cassandra Hargrove. Cassie isn’t what he expected, though, and Marcus finds he wants more than one night with her. Pursuing more from her, he learns that power can be given and taken, but the best power is the power that’s shared.

“Power of the Press” introduces us to Congresswoman Maggie Tsolis, a woman with a secret, her relationship with reporter Dylan Carter. Nothing in Washington stays secret very long, though, and when their relationship becomes public, Maggie has to decide which is more important to her, her responsibilities to her constituents or the man she’s become so connected to.

Is love the most powerful force on earth? Walk these halls with the men and women who serve here and see for yourself.
