I enjoy writing material that is unique and hopefully inspires you, the reader, in some way. Each poem tells a story and conveys a message of some kind. I have tried to create material that is interesting and expansive, covering a wide, absorbing range of topics. The poems cover many subjects on different levels - emotion, feelings and being – love, peace, morals, war, greed, appreciation, perspective, humour and life in general. I guess, albeit mostly subconsciously, I have been on a quest during my life’s journey to gain a better understanding of my place and surroundings in the world and cosmos. Through writing I feel able to better locate my own position within the apparent random universe that abounds. In so doing this helps to give me a clearer understanding and perception of who I am and of others around me. I hope that when you read the book that these works also give you an improved measure of comprehension and worth. I enjoy photography, which assisted me in producing the artwork; many of the photos were taken locally, near to where I live in East Anglia. I took the name of the book, from the very first poem, which offers some inspiration to the reader to achieve their hopes and dreams. After all, as I often say and emphasise: all things are possible! – a few simple words that could and should inspire us all. Phil Hope
