Meg, a small town actress and playwright, has just put the finishing touches on a Regency play that she hopes will make a splash…and maybe even launch her career. So she is thrilled when her co-writer, Cecilia, announces that she’s secured the most perfect actor for the lead role of Lord Richards. However, when the name Vincent Davenport leaves her friend’s lips, all enthusiasm is lost. Vincent Davenport is one of the most coveted actors on Broadway, but he’s also known as a nightmare to work with. Meg plays the leading lady opposite Vincent, and as soon as the word ‘Action’ rings out romantic sparks fly between them, but with the word ‘Cut,' reality comes crashing back. Will the terrible dynamic between co-stars ruin the play, and possibly Meg’s future? Or will Vincent prove himself to be a little more than meets the eye?
