Liza, an overweight college aged girl, who loved books, was persecuted in her small midwestern town for not being the ideal. Life was terrible, but then she learned her hero was going to be in the big city for a book signing. He was the Paragon, a larger than life super hero that everyone adored. Having never travelled so far on her own, she arrived late, and ended up with a seat in the back. This put her in the wrong place at the wrong time as Paragon appeared and one of his arch villains attacked from where she was sitting. The next she knows, she's waking up in a hospital in the dark. She slowly realizes that she is in the Paragon's body, and then learns that he is in hers. She also discovers that John, the Paragon, is anything but a nice guy. He has the world under his thumb, and he's hated by all who really know him. John also had a plan, to have the power of the Paragon at his disposal, while he became anonymous. Liza interrupted that plan and he's out to ruin her in her own body. Can Liza set things right, and get her own identity back? Does absolute power corrupt? Does might make right? If man is the paragon of animals, is he still just an animal, or can he be something more?
