On the 13th of February 2013 a woman being transferred from Pentonville Prison in North London to Princetown Prison on Dartmoor, managed to escape. Her incarceration was known to only a few dozen people and her recapture was to be achieved in a low key operation involving a Sergeant nearing retirement and a young female police officer. The escape brought together those responsible for her 'safety' during her years as a captive and those responsible for her imprisonment. Mistrust was to pervade the operation and feelings would be revealed that had hitherto been repressed. Everything was not as it appeared to be and a great deal of imaginative detective work and not a little bending of the rules would be needed before the situation could be resolved.

This is not a book about the late Diana Spencer. It is an old fashioned detective story with a few red herrings and some twists to stimulate the mind of the reader. It has been immensely enjoyable to write and I hope for you to read.
