In this fourth and final book of The Plan series, Gabe and Hanna must help locate and rescue Seth and Karen’s captured family members from the agency. Their adventure leads them away from the comforts of the ranch and Los Angeles to Yuma, Arizona. There, agents have been using a prison camp as a base for human trafficking activities with the Mexican cartels. The loss of electricity in the United States has created a refugee problem for Mexico which Gabe’s group becomes a part of as they flee from the agency that is pursuing them from Yuma. Breaches in the border fence allow easy access into Mexico, and it appears that the Border Patrols from both nations have given up trying to prevent crossings.
Gabe’s small fighting group battles their way through a corrupt refugee camp that’s being run by a cruel, self-appointed leader. The leader is discovered to be more than just a leader of the camp. A battle rages within the camp and casualties are high on both sides.
Good fortune brings Gabe’s group together with the Organization For Freedom, a resistance group fighting against the agency from within Mexico but controlled by U.S. soldiers. Joining forces with this capable group of soldiers, Gabe offers a plan to try and hurt the agency enough to end the war, and it’s put into motion.
The final battle will be widespread. If the actions are successful, the results may produce consequences that reach beyond Gabe’s expectations. This fight for freedom will have many unforeseen consequences. The idea that Gabe offers could get him and Hanna killed. JJ and Mr. Williams could suffer the same fate during the battle. If it succeeds, the war could end; and life could return back to the way it was before the agency began pursuing Gabe and Hanna. Time will tell.
