In a mill lived a miller and his three workers. Once he said that that one who would bring the best horse home would become the new mill's owner. The third boy Hans was a drudge and nobody believed he could find the best horse. They came out and when Hans fell asleep in a cavern other two left him. When the boy woke up he started to think where he could get the horse. He met a cat, who promised to give him a beautiful horse, but he should be her servant for 7 years in return. The cat took him to her enchanted castle, where other cats served her. Hans chopped wood and served her. Seven years later the cat told him to go back home and wait for her to come with the horse in three days. Whether she kept the promise or left him without a horse you will know, when you read the whole story.
