Rebecca is a shy little girl, who feels like she is the only one who struggles with issues. She doesn’t think to ask for help when Damion, the youth pastor, who has a fancy for little girls, makes sexual advances towards her, so she talks to God, asking for His help and protection. Part one tells Rebecca’s story of how a little girl copes with a series of issues on her own.

Lindsey is Rebecca’s best friend, but their lives are vastly different. Lindsey’s mom and dad are separated, and her dad takes on a mistress who has two little girls. Rebecca watches in horror how cruel parents can be towards their children.

Rebecca starts to get very bad nightmares and is trapped in demonic dreams. Her parents are at a loss in how to help her.

Madison, Rebecca’s cousin, faces problems of her own. Her parents are controlling and are projecting their fears and miss placed concerns onto her. Madison confides in Rebecca, telling a secret which shocks her. What will she do with this secret?

Rebecca finds out there are different types of monsters, people who are abusive and different types of abuse. In her stories, the reader will read about how she, a little girl deals with one crisis after another with no help from an adult.

Rebecca’s relationship with God is mature for a child her age and God doesn’t disappoint and answers every prayer of help she offers up to Him.

At the end of the story, Damion kidnaps Rebecca with the intent on raping her. Does he succeed? Rebecca Part one is an exciting read.
