Who would have thought that after sixty-five years of independence, a common man would shake and awake the country and its political system. The past two years saw millions of people come out on streets to fight against the biggest evil of our country “corruption”. The Janlokpal Movement was a call to all the politicians of India to listen to the common man's plea. Anna Hazare and his team with Arvind Kejriwal tried every single way possible to plead their cause to the government from peaceful protesting to courting arrest, indefinite fasting and several rounds of negotiations. No stone was left unturned to convince the government to form a strong anti-corruption law. But despite the huge wave of public support in favor of a strong anti-corruption law, no political party was ready to bring under scrutiny every public officer serving under Jonlokpal's radar.

The Mentor and Disciple both stood for their idealism and determination in fight for an anti-corruption law. However there were tough times ahead with mentor Anna Hazare wanting to tread the path by social activism and disciple Arvind wanting to gain political power to bring about actual change in the system. On having attempted the path of peaceful fasts and protests, Arvind decided to take action and plunged into active politics with his newly formed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Arvind strongly believed that most political parties are corrupt, greedy and thick skinned, and he advocated that the time had come to bring political power back into the people's hands.

He set an example that anything is possible if the intention is good.
