The Risen Light: Carrier Chronicles

The world is in turmoil. The economy has collapsed and civil unrest has ensued. When it's no longer safe to stay in their home, 16 year old Elisha Rivers and what's left of her family are forced into massive residential camps by the newly empowered United International Authority. Now held in captivity with a new world leader in there midst, Elisha's mother is convinced that the new authority was created to usher in imminent biblical prophecy. But Elisha, who has been promised an exalted position in the new world as a "Carrier" isn't as convinced as her mother. Alongside her younger brother and an unlikely friend named Drew, Elisha Rivers' journey through this pre apocalyptic whirlwind is one of fear, strength and the test of faith.
