The Almighty God never does anything without a purpose, and so he has created every living thing to fulfill His plans and goals. Everything under the sun has a purpose. Till we discover the purpose of our existence, we continue to live for ourselves, and as a result we wonder away from the path of destiny.

The Creator has also given to every creature the tool and ability to fulfill its purpose on earth. To the salt He has given flavor; the power for seasoning. Christians are the salt of the earth. Every Christian has what it takes to make the world a better place to live. We are to affect every person that we come across in life positively to lift up the name, King Jesus, through our conduct and lifestyle; as we serve and honor the Almighty God. In other words, this is the reason for our existence.

Self discovery is the key to securing fulfillment and satisfaction in all our endeavors and spiritual assignments. Until we discover our real identity, we will continue to operate on a false or other people’s identity. Salt can be known by its flavor. The strength of salt is in its flavor, no wonder Jesus Christ said that if salt looses its flavor, it is good for nothing. The ability of salt to preserve and season is in its flavor. Remember that you, as a Christian, are the salt of this earth. There is something in you that can change and transform this world for better and make it ready for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Salt’s flavor as a matter of fact, is the function of combination of many substances. In a Christian’s life, flavor represents and includes the power of God, God’s presence, the knowledge of God, Faith of God, and God’s grace. Christians are products of grace, and we must live from grace to grace. His grace is more than sufficient for us to make a difference in our generation. The level of God’s grace upon an individual determines his or her virtue. Virtue is the capacity to act. The significant difference that any Christian will make on earth is proportionate to the measure of grace he/she has received from above, and without God’s grace there is no capacity to contribute to his kingdom.

Nobody can make any difference in this world without God’s grace. It is by God’s grace that we are what we are; therefore we must live from grace to grace. The amount of His grace upon us determines our level of achievement and contribution to the human race.

According to Matthew 5:13, Our Lord Jesus Christ proves to us that it is possible for salt to lose its flavor.  He also tells us something about the consequences of the salt losing its flavor. It is almost impossible to identify a tasteless salt by sight. In the same token, it is difficult for some believers to gauge the state of their present relationship with their Maker, especially when they still occupy important church positions, carry out their ministerial responsibilities, and maintain all Christian activities in the house of God. The only solution for the salt of the earth (Christians) to retain their flavor is renewal. How do we renew our flavor, so as to have strength and all other qualities it would take to fulfill the purpose for which we were created? This book answers it all. Read it and discover God’s secret that will propel you to the top.
