Held prisoner for years blue haired nine year old Andre is suddenly freed by the efforts of his fellow prisoner, a wizard named Yuri. Free, but cast adrift in a world he does not know, Andre soon finds himself in even worse trouble than being locked away in the dark dungeon. Now he is lost, and waterless, within a never ending desert.
To his aid comes a most unlikely source: Nick-Nock a two headed, giant sized bird. With his new friend’s help Andre escapes the burning sands and lands right into the further trouble. Along his way he makes friends, and enemies, and is relentlessly tested for he is not simply a lost boy, but rather the heir to a powerful, faraway kingdom. And he possesses powers even he was unaware of.
But his enemies will not relent, they will follow him no matter where he travels, no matter how long it takes, as Andre journeys in search of a place named Bloo.
