The old baron Ravots is now paralyzed for six years and can not hunt . In good weather , we took him on a chair on the porch with a servant to load the rifles and another to let go pigeons . So he spends his days .

When comes the season of the hunt, all hunters in the area are invited to the " tale of the Woodcock " is a ritual. Each guest eats a woodcock and gives head to Baron .
