What happens when those in power will do anything to keep their authority, even if it means betraying the very nation they promise to protect?

As the last true Republic of the once mighty Empire of Corland, the nation of Caparal, is fighting for its life against barbarian hordes emerging from the center of the continent. They must rely upon their duly elected Senators and Praetors to protect them.

General Yumanar has led their armies to one great victory after the next but now the political powers that be see him as a greater threat than their martial enemies. They send him on an impossible quest to retrieve the long lost Spear of the Hunt.
