Austin Hall's classic, The Blind Spot, first came out as a serialized novel in Argosy magazine in 1921, and was first published in book form in 1951. It's a longstanding classic of the genre-- in fact, genres--scifi, horror, fantasy and mystery, with a bit of Futurism tossed in for good measure. While the book received an at-best lukewarm reception from critics, fans thought differently, and the book became somewhat of an underground classic. Yet even at the height of its popularity it was difficult, yet possible, to find.

If The Blind Spot was hard to find, Its sequel, The Spot of Life, is nigh-on impossible to get in any form anywhere. The Blind Spot ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, and the unavailability of its sequel left its cult following hanging. Happily, this long-lost closing chapter is now available for everyone to download and have at their fingertips. We're incredibly pleased to be able to plug this gap in scifi history by bringing you one of the frankly weirdest little novels we've ever run across. Do you dare unlock the mysteries of the Spot of life? Obviously you do. And now you can!
