This little book is about a Bradford-born man called Peter Barraclough, a flower child of the 1960s and his maturing though a golden cultural era when most things were either 'hip' or 'fab'.  The hippy flower children of the time promoted peace and love had brought another dimension to everyday life at a time when Carnaby Street or Kings's Road in Chelsea, London, were the 'in' places to be seen. From an upbringing in a northern industrial city to the bright lights of the Capital, Peter flirted with the fantasy that never quite became a reality.
