The Two Timing Mail Order Bride: A Clean Western Historical Romance

The year is 1881 and orphaned Emogene decides to become a Mail Order Bride.

Emogene was Henretta’s best friend she and Jonathan had recently visited her in Kansas. Emogene and her parents ran the grocery store for many years. Recently Emogene had answered an ad for a mail-order bride in Ft. Riley Kansas. She believed he was William, best friend of Travis and Henretta. Then one morning shortly after sending the letter, Emogene woke up to a fire. The store and their home above it were burning. She tried to get to her parents, but the fire was too hot, and she lost them both along with her livelihood.

So she accepted William’s offer to be his bride. However, Henretta’s brother Jonathan presented himself as a suitor as well, and he had been in love with Emogene for a long time. Since Emogene didn’t know which man was the right one for her, she decided to let each man court her for the summer, and she would pick her mate when fall arrived. Did Emogene make the right choice or did she lose both in the end because of her indecisiveness?
