A heart-warming anthology of inspirational verse by Australian poet Ros Mansell. Ros’ collection of poems is truly inspirational. Her work evokes feelings of joy, love, hope and understanding – a keepsake you will cherish for years to come.
Ros Mansell (Tonge) was born in Perth, Western Australia – the youngest in a family of four. Writing poetry began in earnest when, during a health crisis in 1991, Ros discovered that she had an innate talent to express herself in verse in a way that touched the heart. Ros credits her late Mother with implanting the seeds of her ‘gift’ in her early childhood. She often sat listening to her read poetry aloud and delighted in the sense of rhythm and the expression of emotion.
How it came to be…
"Seven years ago, I wrote a poem called The Upside of Down, and little did I know what a catalyst for change it was to be in my life. As I took up the pen and began to write, I was transformed. My heart opened and my ‘gift’ of poetry was revealed.
Throughout this exciting time of discovery, I learned that others were there to be loved and not feared; and that Life itself is a celebration, not merely an existence." Ros Mansell
