LOGLINE: A lonesome teenage cadet from a special military force and seven legionnaire colleagues set out on a perilous journey to rediscover a lost piece from a great magical medallion that will help prevent world destruction by an evil and powerful sorceress.

SYNOPSIS: Because a cataclysmic event leaves Earth uninhabitable, the human race travels far across the galaxy to start life anew on a planet known as Kepler, a place with unfamiliar beings called Keplerings who lack the level of knowledge and technology that humans had developed on Earth. There the tale of Iion (EYE-en) Owens, a common, seventeen-year-old orphan boy from a small, destitute community, unfolds. He learns he is being recruited by a strict government to join a clandestine military force and to share the special gifts he never knew he possessed. Iion is ushered away from a sparsely populated and undeveloped region to one of Kepler’s affluent national capitals in a distant northern nation. There he is hastily introduced to a futuristic world and the concepts of military confrontation.

Humans are the minority at his new academy, but Iion embarks on his new life as an apprentice along with three human friends, an optimistic boy named Rykel Worrod, a boy named Mervin, and a teenage girl named Lily Waters. Iion also found a rival, a Keplering boy named Drakone Dragpint. After many months of intense training in swordsmanship, Iion and his new friends graduate at the top of their class and become part of an elite group of soldiers. At his graduation Iion meets a mysterious Keplering girl by the name of Ayliah Carwell, who takes a certain interest in him.

Society takes a dramatic change when an evil and powerful sorceress named Elvira decides to go after a magical medallion that can unlock great powers she needs to summon an evil lord from a magical confinement, a lord who desires to conquer all of Kepler. The only thing that can defeat her and the evil lord is a missing piece of the medallion. Iion and seven other soldiers are ordered by the military to embark on a secret quest to retrieve the hidden medallion piece that was located across the planet on an isolated and treacherous island. Will Iion and his trusty companions survive the dangerous journey and retrieve the medallion, destroy the depraved sorceress, and save Kepler?
