The Way of Things Part Five - The Return

Finding himself surprisingly alive following his death at the Liberty Tree, Dafydd Peacemaker thinks that he has finished with adventures. But it seems that the adventures have not finished with him. The Guardian tells him that if he wishes his friend the son of Wild Harp to return to Alvalard, then he must make a journey to the place of punishment, known as the Depths, to bring him home. There is however a price to pay. If he is to bring his friend home, then Dafydd must also rescue his brother James. It is a price that the prince finds almost too high to pay. Eventually setting out on his journey he is joined by the mad Lemna Minor and a mysterious man from the Depths who acts as his guide. It proves to be a journey none of them will forget.
