The Weeping Tree is a symbolic place that the human soul goes during times of depression, apathy, sadness or grief. It is a place where you go to heal and the willows acts as the supernatural force at work while you're trying to find your way back home. The Mother of all willows keeps the human spirit and rebirth of their soul always at hand, by her sympathetic nature and influence on all the willows in the grove she helps the human spirit heal and be on their way. But the grove, even though they number over a thousand trees feel loneliness in their being and long for the mortals to continue to walk among them, and stay in the Land of Heartbreak, on the Isle of Gloom. The moral of this short story in prose is that even though the shadow of gloom overcomes us all at one time or another, there is a force that is stronger than all of us working towards our ultimate happiness.
