Chicago police detectives Jim Ryan and his partner Brian Dwyer are struggling with family problems, department politics, and are under investigation by Internal Affairs for possible federal civil right violations when they killed two armed robbers. Now they are being assigned to assist in the hunt for a crew of home invaders that have been terrorizing the city and suburbs. The home invaders hit again and make the biggest score of their career. They also make the biggest mistake of their lives; they hit the wrong house. The victim, Ari Abudda is not just the wealthy businessman he appears to be. He is also an expatriated Iraqi terrorist who is using his legitimate businesses and charities as a front to extort money from the Muslim community and funnel it back to Iraq to support terrorist groups. Abbuda and his henchman must find the home invaders, recover the stolen $250,000 and kill them before the police catch them and uncover Abudda's true identity. When the body of one of the home invaders is found in the trunk of a burned out car, Ryan and Dwyer realize they are not the only ones searching for the crew. The race is on to see who got to them first.
