We're all afraid of getting sick and dying which is why we want our public health care system because we know no matter what happens in our lives, our medical needs will be taken care of but there is a problem, namely that a fully funded public healthcare system without allowance for private, for-profit healthcare providers like they have in Britain, strains the system. Common sense says a two-tiered system is best: Public where everything is free. Private, if you don't want to deal with the public system and want faster service, you pay for it through private clinics.
