The book “Three Margarets" is the first of the “Margaret Series”, which dates from the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. The three Margarets -- Margaret, Peggy and Rita -- are cousins from the East, West and Cuba. They convene at Fernley Hall, the charming, manorial home of their uncle John Monfort, for a summer. Margaret, Peggy, and Rita find that although each was named Margaret after their grandmother, their distinctly different upbringings means they (at least initially) have little in common. Each learns to overcome their differences and learn lessons about life and attitude from the others. Illustrated
