"During the day, probably 200-300 men milled about along the way to the market. There were some broken sidewalks but they were usually taken up by someone bathing at the water pump in front of our building, someone selling something, someone cutting hair, or a few men playing cards to pass the time between rickshaw or taxi customers. One had to frequently walk off onto the street flooded with yellow taxis, auto rickshaws (like high speed golf carts used for transporting people throughout the city), hand pulled and bicycle rickshaws, street dogs, cows, and children playing cricket." Chandni Townsend and her family have been missionaries in India for 10 years. In her book, To Finally See Your Face, Chandni shares about how events in her childhood and young adult life led her and her husband to India, how she adopted two daughters, and her experiences with infertility, depression, and grief. She also recounts her journey with God who is good and is always in control.
