The Transport 15-A – the largest ship owned by Galactic Transport Corporation – is past its prime in the year 3032, but it’s the only vessel suited to carry an alarming weapons order to the far off planet of Dennin, home to an agricultural colony. Only one problem: its captain is in hot water with Galtran boss Tia Matri for carrying out an illegal smuggling operation, which means the shipment can’t go out without a new man on the bridge. Matri hires a legendary military commander and a cocky lieutenant to take over the ailing ship’s haul with the help of the existing engineering crew, an eager temp, two experienced helmsmen, and a computerized hologram named Rio. But the crew’s inaugural mission to Dennin becomes only the beginning of their adventures as they encounter alien life forms, ancient warriors, an unhinged scientist, and the cutest hellion in space. As they’re flung further and further from home, will the crew fall apart? Or will their leader – who has carte blanche to give whatever orders he sees fit in deep space – earn the respect of all aboard the Transport 15-A?
