Realizing the tumble is not a hoax, he appeals to Chairman Yuan Tien of China to grant asylum to thirteen million Australian refugees.
Faced with an inevitable incursion by Russian and Mongolian armed forces, Chairman Tien invites President Bazhenov to Zhongnanhai and offers a quid pro quo in an effort to avert a three-way conflict where the only victorious entity would be Mother Nature.
