Telly Walker, the diminutive hero of Splendiferous, finds himself attending Werner Von Braun Institute of Technology in Florida hoping to reveal how and why one of their Drones gassed an entire Native reservation some 1200 miles away. Was it the first shot in a War of Independence against Berlin? Or evidence that the new bosses will be worse than the old ones?
His exploits in Splendiferous made him something of a national symbol of resistance against the status quo. It gets him into the best fraternity at Werner Von Braun. It also gets him in a lot of trouble when the bloom is off the rose. After two assassination attempts how can he trust his Nazi "babysitter" to keep him alive ?
In his quest to survive he meets a chain-smoking nun, a biker priest, and a beatnik baseball coach, not to mention a blind midnight date who isn't quite as blind as she makes out. (With him!)
If you ever wondered what life could have been like in an America under Nazi control, the first part of this sequel continues to fill in the dots. You may be surprised at the differences to the America we know. And even more surprised at the similarities!
