Life on Fakarava - Tahiti is just as fast paced as it was back in Calabasas. Raygan tries her hardest to accept her fate but Trey stops at nothing to prove the doctors wrong. With an emotional distance lurking between Raygan and Trey, the island of Fakarava is sent into terror at the thought of a human trafficking syndicate operating under a self-proclaimed group. Raygan, at last gets some positive news, but how will Trey respond knowing that with this news comes huge risk? A risk on Raygan’s life yet again. Raygan needs to prove to Trey that she can physically survive this procedure, but unknowingly sends Trey spiraling down mentally. With Trey hiding his emotional turmoil and Raygan hiding her physical side effects, leaves everybody guessing as to what is going on.
Raygan surmises that things are not all as they seem with Trey regarding his health, and her suspicions are amplified once Trey starts preparing her for the future. A future without him. Raygan begs Trey for the truth, but knowing that she will get no answers she puts her trust in the notion that after all they have been through, surely they can survive anything?
Things take a turn for the worse once Raygan is dragged into a dispute among the island locals regarding the human trafficking syndicate, leaving Trey having to use every skill he has ever acquired over the years to protect his family. A race for time is once again ignited.
Trey has molded Raygan over the years into a survivor, a true warrior of life. But what does it all mean if she does not have Trey? Can Raygan accept that one day Trey may not be in her life? Trey has always been the one doing the saving but this time, can Raygan save Trey?
