Viet Nam's Success in Increasing Access to Energy through Rural Electrification

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is committed to helping achieve access to energy for all people in the region. Modern, affordable energy is an integral part of any development strategy and creates immediate and life-changing benefits for the poor. Increasing access to energy is a pillar of ADB's Energy Policy and part of the long–term strategy for inclusive regional growth. ADB's Energy for All Initiative supports the development and implementation of access to energy projects and builds on ADB's internal capabilities to meet the critical energy needs of its developing member countries.
