This book covers food insecurity problems in the Himalayan region through a detailed study of Humla district in Nepal. The impact of climate change is strongly felt in this region as temperature rise in the Himalaya has been higher than in other parts of the globe. The effect of warming Himalaya is compounded by land degradation leading to decline in production and productivity of land.
