Waxing Gibbous

We all have a powerful connection that exists just beyond in the hereafter. Often it is the soul of a loved one who has passed on and looks over those who are lucky enough to have a guardian angel. But a few of us are not so lucky, for in the void lurk malevolent entities in search of human prey. One such demon has its sights set on ten-year-old Alice Bennett. Its mission is to drain the child of her faith in God, along with any and all hope for survival, and it must accomplish this before the waxing gibbous phase of the moon ensues. As its time is short, it devises a plan in which it will tell her three frightening true stories. Will these nightmarish stories be enough to break down Alices defenses, leaving her open to eternal demonic possession? Or does the pure innocence of a child reserve a clandestine defense greater than the awesome power of a malevolent eternal entity?
