We Came from Wolgadeutscher (Volga German) Children's Book

‘We Came from Wolgadeutscher (Volga German) Children’s Book’ is a book for ages 8-12, and is a fictional story about the journey of a German Family in the mid 1760's. It follows them as they move from their home and leave for Russia and the Colonies of the Volga River. The story continues as their descendants live and prosper on the Volga, and finishes around 1900 as their children's children finally leave the Volga River area and settle in new homes in America. This book follows a similar story line much the same as in my series of 10 historical novels, but written here from a child’s interests and view. It is true as far as the general dates and facts that we know about the Wolgadeutscher. I hope this book will help our children see the true story, the real lives of our German-Russian Volga Ancestors…. so those that came before, and what they did for us, will live on within us forever.
