The tension between the police and the black community has become deadly, and lines in the sand have been drawn. Very few have been willing to step across those lines, join hands with their perceived adversary and walk together toward a place of healing and reconciliation. Trust, respect, goodwill and openness have fallen victim to wariness, disrespect, malice and hatred. In order for us to witness positive change and healing, we need to acknowledge who we have forgotten to remember: God. Spiritual warfare is real, and we are experiencing a spiritually demonic attack of monstrous proportions. If we are ever going to effectively counter the attacks of the enemy and put an end to this war between the police and the black community, we need to fix our gazes upon God and let him order our steps and change our hearts before the next police officer or black citizen meets their untimely demise.
