a kiss is all it takes…
to remember who they really are
Catherine Fields does not meddle with anything that concerns magic – well, not always. But through her mother, she is forced by the High Council of Magickals to search for a lost wizard who needs to know about his true identity and his untrained magical powers. This lost wizard turns out to be the elusive billionaire, Anthony Reynolds. But how can she make him understand what he is when she doesn't accept magick wholeheartedly, herself?
Anthony Reynolds lives in comfortable isolation in his private estate in the outskirts of New Orleans. But in his dreams, Anthony is haunted by the face of a young beautiful woman with piercing green eyes - the same the color of an emerald pool lit by a full moon. Blessed with the gift of foresight, he knows that the woman in his dreams is coming for him. He remembers his dream of her palm placed over his heart as it stops beating.
What will she really bring - death, or a new life?
Then on a stormy afternoon, Catherine comes knocking on Anthony's doorstep. Hair dripping wet and her clothing pooling at her feet, she looks at him directly and he is struck by the same emerald green eyes in his dreams. Then they learned who they are meant to be - to each other. And what power they bring to the magickal world.
They are the only ones who can stop the imminent danger that will destroy the world. This evil comes by the name of Nathaniel D'Vall, a warlock who has amassed powers over the centuries and seeks to destroy the human world and beyond. While being together is their ultimate strength, it can also be their foremost weakness.
Can they defeat a powerful being who may also be related to Anthony by blood, when they are both relatively new to magick?

“WHAT WAS THAT?” Catherine asked. Her chest heaved as she drew a ragged breath. It was as though the oxygen had been sucked from the room and was only just being released back a bit at a time. Her head swam with a thousand strange images of Anthony and her together—memories that couldn’t be real.
“I… I don’t know.” Anthony reached up to stroke her cheek. “We know each other, don’t we? It’s not possible, but I have these memories of you. I can see you and me together, but it’s strange, like it happened a long time ago. We’re wearing old-fashioned clothing and speaking another language. It can’t be real, can it?”
Catherine sighed and pulled his head to her chest. The sudden appearance of her mother and the request of the Council were starting to make sense. She felt utterly drained, as though she had used every ounce of her gift to cast the most powerful spell she was capable of, and she knew why they had asked her not to use her gift for anything until she returned to New York.
“I think it’s time for me to come clean about why I was sent here,” she said.
