Why Africa Sleeps A Little Longer

Why Africa Sleeps a little longer is a collection of observed attitudes and behaviours that seem to be holding Africa and Africans back.

It is not just plain description of things but it is a deeper philosophical analysis of some deep ways of thinking, in people, that lead to the various non-progressive behaviours, and lack of action, of us Africans, both of which cumulate into lack of progress for Africa.

The aim of this book is to bring these various ideas before people so that they can talk about them, think about them and then encourage each other to change their ways of thinking, as well as to change their behaviour for the better.

This is the author’s first published work. He is a business and computer science student at the University of Zimbabwe so this is a young person’s perspective to the question of Africa’s relative backwardness.
