Pack your bags! These exciting real life stories will stir your heart and move you to want to meet the needs of the sick, poor and hurting in Mongolia. More importantly, it will teach you the innovative and effective techniques used by Medical Education International to introduce people to the Great Physician that can be used anywhere.
-David Stevens MDMA (Ethics), Executive Director, Christian Medical and Dental Association

Why Do They Come? is a fitting celebration of the Medical Educational International’s involvement in Mongolia over the past ten years. This collection of individual memories captures a pictorial and anecdotal record of the vision and committment of individual members of the Christian Medical and Dental Association to work together to make a difference in the medical care in Mongolia. Anyone who reads this will be inspired by how God enabled the team members to overcome the obstacles of language and culture and creatively multiply their time and expertise.
This book is a book you can’t easily put down because you quickly get caught up in the collective passion for the work and the people of Mongolia. It was intended to tell the story of the past, but turns out to be a challenge to participate in the future. It makes for a fascinating read which could potentially propel the reader to become involved. There is a door that is wide open to the gospel through the avenue of medicine.
-Lynn Smith, NextLEVEL Leadership, Former Dean of Students, Tyndale College and Seminary, Author of Gender or Giftedness
