WITS' END is two stories of women who must solve a problem. The first story "The Transfer" is about Selma Barclay RN who can no longer tolerate working night shifts and what she does about it. The second story is about Alma Mae, an elderly widow who recieves a foreclosure notice because of unpaid property taxes. I particularly enjoyed writing Selma Barclay RN's story but perhaps this is because I can appreciate why she arrived at her breaking point.
