Seth was a wolf of the Emperor and a member of the Emperor's own. To be a wolf you have to be a host to a Gudag. Seth's Symbiote is Kletharl and her mate is Cleasal. When Seth woke from Cryosleep he found he had been asleep for an unknown length of time. He was also on a planet of which he didn't have any knowledge of. When he came out of Cryo he discovered his Symbiote's Host was dead.
When a host or symbiote lost their other half they had to find them or very bad things would happen? How would Cleasal handle the loss of his Host? Added to this soon after Seth was awakened he was faced with saving several Warblers from the predators from the planet he was on. What was going to happen? How was he going to handle the Warblers since when he went to sleep the Empire had been at war with the Warblers.
